We are often requested by couples “we want Kisstory music at our Wedding!”. Now for anyone who is unsure what “Kisstory” is, in a nutshell it’s a term made famous by a radio station in the UK. Basically it means club / radio classic anthems from the last decade or two.
So the answer is a huge YES you can have Kisstory music at your Wedding or event. We have specialist DJs who love playing Kisstory classics at parties. Old School Club Classics, Party R&B and even Garage can go down a storm along with all the latest deep house hits and urban vibes to give your party a soundtrack unique to you! The chances are a good percentage of your party will have the same tastes, will have grown up in the same era and gone to the same clubs and parties in past years.
Equipment
When you hire Mr DJ you don’t just get a talented DJ, you get an all-action entertainment experience thanks to some of the best lighting and sound systems around. You are only as good as the equipment you have and I believe in having the best. PAT Tested and covered by Public Liability Insurance, our equipment looks and sounds fantastic in venues of all shapes and sizes. Copies of documents are available upon request.

What can Mr DJ provide?
- We want to make things as easy as possible for you. So all we ask of your wedding venue is access time, a little space for my equipment and electricity. Other timings we will get from you or we’ll work them out together.
- Sound and lighting for the dancefloor area. State of the art for a professional look.
- A Pre-Wedding Meeting or Skype call is arranged before the big day. We cover everything in detail.
- Online Guest Requests. We like to gather a lot of information and do a whole lot of preparation. This is because our DJs only have a finite amount of time on a unique day. Maybe the only day you’ll ever have all those people assembled together. Most of our clients, but not all (and that’s fine too), are very open to their guests making requests.
- Your song list. Obviously, as it’s your day, you are allowed to make as many or as few song requests as you like. Whilst specific tracks are great, our DJs are equally happy to work with the mixture of ages and genres you suggest.
Imagine everything you could ask for in a wedding DJ, and then triple it, that’s how it felt like working with Jools. I was so impressed about the way he seamlessly mixed the tracks together, less chat and more music approach and its definitely appealing to see that in a DJ.He read the crowd which meant he had no problem drawing people to the dance floor, at no time was the dance floor empty and the crowd loved it!As well as managing the music and reading the mood perfectly, he was also very friendly, approachable and accommodating which meant the couple could just relax and enjoy their wedding.I’m fully aware that when I recommend a DJ, or any other supplier, my reputation is on the line and I have no problem in recommending Jools to all my couples and to me it’s quite obvious why he’s such a sort after DJ, the only thing you will need to worry about is if he is free on the day you want to book him!
